Events and Trade Shows: Tips for Exhibitors (Part 1)

Going to industry events and trade shows as an exhibitor is an excellent way to get your name out in front of a whole new audience. We’ll be regularly sharing tips for maximizing the effectiveness of your exhibitor booth– so watch this space for more!

Tip #1:

Plan out your booth so you can maximize your space: pick your booth elements (banners, displays, etc.) ahead of time.

Make sure your booth is both eye-catching and clearly representative of your offerings. What’s going to compel someone to actually stop and come talk to you? Having a fun giveaway or engaging activity at your booth can draw people in, but they should be thought out so your company message and brand aren’t compromised. Remember to order any signage or promotional materials well in advance to avoid rush costs. If you choose to add special lighting or equipment in or around your booth, keep your neighbors in mind — the goal is for everyone to have a chance to shine, not be overpowered.
